This is a very practical, hands-on course to make students industry ready. We cover troubleshooting, wiring, and entry-level maintenance of traditional and computer-based controls, conveyor systems, and gearboxes.

One-year Ontario College Certificate

Career Opportunities:
The program provides students with an electrical background that makes them excellent candidates as apprentices in residential, construction, and maintenance trades as well as the industrial electrician trade. Other opportunities may be found in many mechanical trades such as heating, air conditioning, refrigeration, alarm systems, or network cabling.
Program Description:

This program is designed to provide students with an understanding of the theoretical and practical aspects of the electrical trade and to familiarize them with the associated tools and materials. Students will learn how to use the Canadian Electrical Code Book (C.E.C.) and the Ontario Hydro Electrical Code Book.
